ACTAtek IP-based Reader is completely compatible with the ACTAtek Biometric and Smartcard units. Providing TCP/IP port creates a cost effective means of deploying access control to multiple doors which the administrator will be able to do the remote management via the web-based Access Manager from HQ. It is also attractive, small, cost effective unit that can be used as a means of extending the ID management platform from a full biometric or smartcard access control system to additional card authentication door access control or time and attendance system.

ACTAtek mobile battery features a portable long-lasting and rechargeable power source design, to ensure ACTAtek can be operated anytime and anywhere. This allows mobile biometric ID management for security forces at remote locations where conventional power is not available.

Used in conjunction with the ACTAtek3 unit, the External I/O board provides an additional layer of security for access control systems when the ACTAtek3 terminals are exposed to general access. An encrypted serial link from the ACTAtek3 unit connected to the External I/O board ensures the door release mechanism cannot be operated directly. This means that even when there is a vandal attack or someone removes the ACTAtek3 terminal by force, the External I/O board Secure Relay will maintain operation and keep the door mechanism locked against unauthorised access.

A fail safe electric strike needs power to keep it locked. A fail secure electric strike stays locked even without power. The most common by far is a fail secure. When using a fail secure electric strike even without power it stays locked from the outside coming in. For egress or getting out, a door knob or lever on the lock allows for safe exit. If you must use a fail safe electric strike don't forget to back it up.

The Actatek 3G Wireless Data Gateway (V220) is the true wireless accessrouter. It offers mobile broadband WAN HSDPA connection with data rate up to 7.2Mbps. On Local Area Network (LAN),it supports both the wireless WiFi 802.11b/g and wired Ethernet10/100Mbps connections.



Actatek mobile solutions:


ACTAtek V220 is offering mobile broadband connection, useful in train stations,airports, meeting rooms etc. It is also ideal to replace or as aback-up to the traditional fixed wired broadband access connection.

With the integration of V220 to the ACTAtek Mobile Kit, which is being rated IP-67, the Time Attendance records taken from the remote sites would be sent by real time via 3G/GSM network to the back-end database located at HQ office. Once the attendance records have been collected, the HR Manager would be able to generate employee's attendance/daily reports or Payslip (via Payroll System) without the any delay.

Using the ACTAtek mobile solutions, time attendance records can be taken even from the working location of the construction workers inside the construction site, thereby reducing hassle to the construction workers. Once all the attendance records of the construction workers are taken, you would only need to connect the ACTAtek Unit inside ACTAtek Mobile Kit to V220 via RJ-45 cable. ACTAtek Unit would send all event logs to the back-end database server via V220 in real-time.

Combining the ACTAtek Mobile Kit and V220 can be such an advantage e.g. collecting real-time time attendance records in a remote environment, it can increase work efficiency and decreasing manpower for the time attendance records taken.
