Bakrie pipe industries (bpi) & seamless pipe Indonesia jaya (spij) seapi was established since 1996 and starts it's commercial production by july 1999 seapi is licensed under API (American petroleum institute) no: 5l-0374 on february 2001, seapi signed an agreement with tenaris, one of the largest world pipe producers. The agreement involve management assistance, technical assistance and marketing assistance. As indicated by its name, seapi is designed to service major customers in South east Asia region
