Arriving from Canada as Asia Pacific Engineering under contract to the National telephone company, PT Telkom, our mission was to implement current telecommunications technology throughout the island of Sumatra. Having completed this project in 1995, we continued with the educational phase whereby local governments and businesses could utilize the new technology to improve their operations and increase their exposure to the international field. In doing so, we introduced e-commerce and by default became intimate with our clients' businesses.
