Job offer: Accounting Manager

Our client, a Japanese company, is looking for an Accounting Manager to join their team.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the preparation and accuracy of financial statements and reports, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations.

• Manage and coordinate internal and external audits, including liaising with auditors and addressing audit findings.

• Develop, implement, and maintain accounting policies and procedures to ensure effective internal controls and compliance with regulations.

• Conduct financial analysis and provide insights to support strategic decision-making and improve financial performance.

• Lead the budgeting and forecasting processes, including variance analysis and financial projections.

• Ensure compliance with tax regulations, financial reporting standards, and corporate governance requirements.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; a Master’s degree or professional certifications (e.g., CPA) is highly preferred.

• Minimum of 8 years of accounting experience, with significant experience in an Office of Public Accountant or similar environment.

• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting standards, and audit procedures.

• In-depth understanding of tax regulations, compliance requirements, and corporate governance.

• Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems; advanced skills in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

• Ability to communicate in English
